Never will “the true tree of life” or “Higgs particle” materialize

Concepts like “the true tree of life” (cladistics) and “the Higgs particle” (particle physics) are Gods for science. If you believe in science, you’re simply expected to believe in them.

The problem with this expectation is that science isn’t a religion, but an empirical method. Science does not have any Gods, but, on the contrary, rests firmly on probability.

Concepts like “the true tree of life” (cladistics) and “the Higgs particle” (particle physics) are thus wrong per definition in a scientific sense. It means that none of them will ever materialize. Science is instead doomed to live without Gods.
