How cladism enters contradiction

We all agree on that there are (1) “things” and (2) “relations” between things.

However, if we illustrate (2) “relations” between things with lines, as cladism does, then we can comprehend (2) “relations” between things as (1) “things” (in the form of “lines”), as cladism does. The problem with this comprehension is that it conflates (2) “relations” between things with (1) “things”, although we all agree on that they are different.

It means that cladists by this comprehension enter contradiction.
