The “Higgs particle” is both a particle and a field, a so-called “scalar” particle.
Now, the fact that it is a field means that it is also a wave (since field is a kind of wave), and thereby that it is both a particle and a wave. This is exactly what also our traditional particles are, although we traditionally express as it is neither a particle nor a wave.
The “Higgs particle” is thus actually the same kind of particle as our traditional particles are, although they join the contradiction “neither nor” into “both and”. The Higgs particle is thus a contradiction.
